Avila prepares a choir and an orchestra for the Day in the Diocese before WYD

This morning was held at the offices of the Bishop of Avila a press conference where they have released the final details of the organization of the Days in the Diocese (DED), previous the World Youth Day, which will manage to gather in our province over 6,000 pilgrims from various parts of world.

CHOIR AND ORCHESTRA OF

JMJ has been publicly presented the initiative to create a choir and an orchestra that encourage the Eucharist on Aug. 15 is scheduled to perform at the feet of the walls of Avila, and is expected to attract over 10,000 people. The choir and the orchestra will be led by three professionals in the field of music: two conservatory teachers (both Avila), and the Gregorian choir director of La Santa.

To join the choir, there will be a selection trials on Monday April 18 in the parish halls of San Vicente. Avila University Important voices give their vision of youth in Ávila Journal

In an effort to continue to prepare the Avila in the face of World Youth Day, this Sunday, March 6, Journal of Avila launched a new section, entitled "Looking at the World Youth Day" .
