Avila University Important voices give their vision of youth in Ávila Journal
In an effort to continue to prepare the Avila in the face of World Youth Day, this Sunday, March 6, Journal of Avila launched a new section, entitled "Looking at the World Youth Day" . This is a weekly publication that presents a series of articles by recognized national and local firms in order to promote reflection on youth that goes beyond the scope of the church and involve the whole society. Names like
Olegario González de Cardedal (member of the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences), Leonardo Rodriguez Duplá (Professor of Ethics and Philosophy at the Pontifical University of Salamanca), Agustin Domingo Moratalla (Doctor of Philosophy and Letters and Professor of Moral and Political Philosophy at the University of Valencia), Alfonso López Quintas (fellow of the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences) or Henri Bonnet (Professor of Ethics at the University of Salamanca), are just some examples of authors who publish their thoughts in these pages. They will be joined voices too close, those who know the realities of our diocese and want to give their particular vision of our youth in different contexts (family, illness or rural, among others).
These items, very important reflective and literary quality, also accompanied the latest news of the preparations in the Diocese of face to host in August to more than 6,000 pilgrims are due to arrive in the Avila province in the days before the celebration of World Youth Day in Madrid, and lived with our young people, participating in an ambitious program of catechetical and spiritual formation based on our great saints.
